Sevita is seeking a Direct Support Professional for the 1st shift in Dawson Springs, Kentucky. This role involves providing quality services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them live more independently and engage in their community. The position emphasizes building meaningful relationships while assisting participants with personal care and developmental goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist individuals with personal hygiene and daily living activities
  • Support participants in achieving developmental goals like budgeting and nutrition
  • Encourage community involvement and participation in favorite activities
  • Foster meaningful relationships with the individuals served
  • Take initiative and act in the best interest of participants

Required skills
