What You'll Do As a DSP, you'll play an important role in helping individuals thrive by: Building meaningful, trusting relationships with the individuals you support Assisting with personal care, hygiene, meals, medication reminders, and daily routines Encouraging independence through life skills such as budgeting, communication, nutrition, and healthy living Supporting community involvement, recreational activities, and social engagement Providing patient, respectful support to individuals with behavioral or complex needs Creating a safe, positive, and supportive home environment Working alongside your team to help individuals achieve their personal goals Who Thrives in This Role You don't need a healthcare background to be great at this job.
