Overview

The Direct Support Lead at Sevita plays a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position involves supervising a team of Caregivers, implementing Individual Service Plans, and providing direct support to clients while ensuring community engagement and involvement.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of Caregivers
  • Implement Individual Service Plans (ISP)
  • Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation and medication administration
  • Provide personal care support to individuals receiving services
  • Conduct staff hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight
  • Facilitate community involvement and provide transportation for outings
