Job Description

Overview

Sevita is seeking a Direct Support Lead to provide leadership and direct services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role involves supervising Life Skills Trainers and participating in community-based activities while ensuring that service objectives are met in accordance with the company's mission.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to Life Skills Trainers in the residence and community.
  • Participate in client training to achieve client objectives and company goals.
  • Facilitate problem-solving and provide supervision to residential staff.
  • Coordinate and complete incident report investigations.
  • Implement personal intervention and crisis prevention strategies as needed.
  • Assist with house staffing needs and staff recruitment.
  • Review client progress and coordinate shift objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and compliance with regulations.
