Overview

ICON Medical Network is seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for a direct hire role in Bluefield, West Virginia. This position offers the chance to significantly impact patients' lives while enjoying a competitive salary and exceptional benefits.

Key responsibilities

  • Participate in multidisciplinary treatment teams and collaborate on patient treatment plans
  • Assess the clinical appropriateness of admissions and work with the referral and intake department
  • Collaborate with attending psychiatrists in caring for inpatients
  • Perform psychiatric assessments and provide ongoing patient care
  • Provide individual therapy and/or medication management as needed
  • Complete documentation requirements legibly and within appropriate timeframes
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA standards

Required skills

  • Two years of psychiatric inpatient clinical experience
  • Licensed as a PMHNP
  • Licensed as an NP in West Virginia or proof of application
  • DEA certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
