Overview

BHE GT&S is seeking a Director of Pipeline Integrity & Records to lead its Integrity Management Program in Bridgeport, WV. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, overseeing integrity assessments, and managing documentation to uphold pipeline safety and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  • Establish and lead the enterprise Integrity Management Program (IMP)
  • Oversee identification of High Consequence Areas (HCAs) and risk assessment methodologies
  • Ensure execution of integrity assessments across pipeline systems
  • Direct remediation programs and anomaly management to maintain system integrity
  • Drive performance monitoring and effectiveness evaluations for integrity programs
  • Maintain compliance with DOT/PHMSA regulations and industry standards
  • Oversee preparation of regulatory reports and monitor regulatory changes
  • Establish and oversee enterprise records management programs
  • Define and enforce data governance standards for integrity data
  • Lead integration of integrity systems with enterprise content management platforms
  • Coordinate with various internal departments to ensure program alignment
  • Support capital project planning through integration of integrity risk insights

Required skills

  • Technical and/or operating experience in natural gas and/or energy industry
  • 7 years professional experience in managing technical and/or operating groups
  • Broad knowledge of regulatory requirements (FERC, EPA, OSHA, DOT, ASME, API)
  • Ability to develop integrated strategies and evaluate progress
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of pipeline operations and business plans
  • General knowledge of BHE GT&S pipeline and storage operations
