Overview

The Dining Services Director at New Horizon Foods will lead the dining department, ensuring high-quality service and teamwork in a client-focused environment. The ideal candidate should possess extensive culinary expertise and strong leadership skills, while maintaining a commitment to excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop menus within provided guidelines
  • Order and maintain inventory
  • Hire and develop team members
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving
  • Ensure food presentation is attractive and appetizing
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests
  • Assist with cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen and dining areas
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
  • Develop and maintain relationships with management and clients

Required skills

  • Extensive culinary experience
  • Team leadership experience
  • Customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
  • Ability to work on feet for extended periods
