Job Description

Overview

The Digital Product Configuration Management Engineer II at Raytheon will play a crucial role in managing the configuration of digital products, ensuring their traceability, consistency, and security throughout the development lifecycle. This position requires an active U.S. government issued security clearance and is based in Tucson, Arizona.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform builds and releases of digital products manually and through certified pipelines
  • Facilitate Digital Change Review Boards (DCRBs)
  • Maintain control, traceability, consistency, and security of all configuration items
  • Oversee configuration planning, change management, version control, and configuration audits
  • Manage digital product development/media libraries
  • Document and maintain guidelines for dependency management and versioning
  • Administer and manage access to configuration management tools and applications
  • Coordinate data transfers and support among various environments
  • Lead coordination of digital product releases and ensure on-time delivery

Required skills

  • Active U.S. government issued security clearance
  • BS/BA in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum 2 years of engineering experience
  • Experience with version control and change management/agile planning tools
  • Knowledge of DPCM/DevSecOps technology and Information Technology (IT)
  • Experience with Automation shell scripting in Linux, Unix, and Windows
  • Familiarity with Digital Product/SW Configuration Management principles
  • Experience with tools like Microsoft Azure DevOps Server, Git, Bitbucket, and Jenkins
  • Proficiency in scripting programming languages such as Perl, shell, Python, or Ruby
  • Understanding of Continuous Improvement, Integration, and Deployment (CI/CD) concepts
