Talent Software Services is seeking a Digital Media Manager for a 4-month contract position in Stanford, California. The role involves managing social media and email communications while aiding in the strategic integration of digital brands during an organizational merger, working collaboratively with the Communications Associate Director.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day social media requests and content planning.
  • Develop and execute social media campaigns for events and announcements.
  • Coordinate with freelancers on social media projects.
  • Monitor engagement metrics and compile performance reports.
  • Draft, design, and deploy 1-4 email newsletters weekly using Emma.
  • Conduct A/B testing to optimize email content.
  • Support the unification of social media accounts during merger.
  • Create graphics and multimedia content using design tools.
  • Collaborate with researchers and staff on social requests.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree with at least three years of relevant experience.
  • Experience managing institutional social media accounts.
  • Proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g., Emma, Mailchimp).
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills.
  • Experience with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Knowledge of social publishing and analytics tools.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with higher education communications preferred.
