Job Description

Overview

Monte Nido & Affiliates, LLC is seeking a Registered Dietitian for their Dedham, Massachusetts location, specifically for the Inpatient and Residential Programs. This role involves providing clinical nutrition and meal plans while working closely with patients struggling with eating disorders in a supportive healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Complete comprehensive Nutrition Assessments for newly admitted patients within 48 hours of admission
  • Complete comprehensive Follow up Nutrition Assessments twice a week
  • Prescribe appropriate meal plans to support nutrition goals
  • Work with patients and support persons to promote the completion of meal plans
  • Perform individual and group nutritional therapy
  • Participate in treatment team planning and discharge planning
  • Provide effective education to parents and families
  • Communicate progress and activities related to treatment and continuing care plans

Required skills

  • Master's Degree
  • Experience providing direct nutritional care in an Eating Disorder Program or Mental Health setting
  • Experience with menu planning and therapeutic diets in a healthcare setting
  • Registered Dietitian (RDN) certification
  • Licensed Dietitian (LDN) in Massachusetts
  • Knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and motivational interviewing
  • Familiarity with therapeutic modalities such as Family-Based Therapy (FBT), DBT, CBT, ERP, and ACT
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize independently
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
