TruckPro LLC is looking for a Diesel Technician skilled in heavy-duty truck services in Cambridge, Ontario. The role involves repairing medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers, ensuring compliance with customer and industry standards. Key responsibilities

  • Perform repairs to customer vehicles and trailers
  • Conduct basic welding functions
  • Inform customer/manager of completion times, service expenses, and possible changes
  • Monitor the profit/loss of each job to maximize profitability
  • Submit work orders for invoicing
  • Maintain inventory and supplies
  • Prepare list of required replacement parts
  • Clean work area and maintain equipment
  • Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety standards

Required skills

  • Two years of diesel mechanic experience in the heavy-duty industry
  • Automotive Service Excellence certification or equivalent
  • Possess personal tools or willingness to purchase required tools
  • Ability to lift parts up to 50+ lbs
  • Valid driver's license and/or CDL with good driving record
