Overview

The Diesel Technician role at Love's Travel Stops in Luverne, Minnesota involves maintaining and repairing diesel engines and light mechanical issues in a fast-paced environment. Technicians will interact with customers to provide roadside services and preventative maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety policies and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components
  • Assist customers with roadside services
  • Provide preventative maintenance services
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Ensure customer safety and satisfaction by following company policies and procedures
  • Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night
