Overview

Gulf Coast Intermodal Inc. is seeking Diesel Technicians for their Molino, Florida location. The role involves repairing diesel engines and maintaining equipment for intermodal transportation, with a focus on providing excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform diesel engine repairs and maintenance
  • Conduct DOT inspections
  • Repair brakes and AC systems
  • Utilize computer programs for maintenance tracking and reporting
  • Work on new Volvo tractors and late-model utility trailers

Required skills

  • 1 year of diesel engine repair experience
  • 3 - 5 years of mechanical knowledge
  • Basic mechanic tools
  • Experience in logistics and transportation
  • Knowledge of DOT inspections
  • Proficiency in TMT, Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Qualcomm and Peoplenet
  • ASE certification preferred
  • CDL Class A preferred
