Overview

Gulf Coast Intermodal Inc. is seeking experienced Diesel Technicians to join their team in Mc David, Florida. This role offers competitive pay and opportunities for on-the-job training within a company known for providing excellent intermodal transportation services.

Key responsibilities

  • Repair diesel engines and related components
  • Conduct maintenance on brakes and AC systems
  • Perform DOT inspections
  • Utilize computer programs for logistics management
  • Work on new Volvo tractors and late-model utility trailers

Required skills

  • 1 year of experience in diesel engine repair
  • 3 - 5 years of mechanical knowledge
  • Experience with brakes and AC repair
  • Familiarity with DOT inspections
  • Proficient in TMT, Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of logistics and transportation
  • Class A CDL preferred but not required
  • ASE Automotive Excellence preferred but not required
