Overview

Kenan Advantage Group is seeking a Diesel Technician III to perform maintenance and repair duties on heavy-duty vehicles in a fast-paced environment. This role operates from 1:30pm to 10pm, Monday through Friday, with Saturdays as needed. The position offers opportunities for training and growth within the company.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform general property and vehicle maintenance and repair duties
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and repair of Class 5 - 8 commercial vehicles
  • Inspect tank trailers
  • Lift up to 50 lbs frequently
  • Promote effective communication and teamwork

Required skills

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Air Brake Certification (FMSCR 396.25)
  • 1+ year verifiable experience in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance/repair
  • Ability to obtain Motor Vehicle Air Conditioning Repair (EPA 609)
  • Experience with diesel mechanics
