Community Transit is seeking skilled Diesel Mechanics to service vehicles connecting Snohomish County. Key responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical repairs on diesel and gasoline-powered equipment
  • Utilize advanced tools and technology for maintenance and repair
  • Prioritize safety and quality of work
  • Engage in continuous education and training
  • Address a variety of mechanical challenges daily

Required skills

  • 4 years of experience in mechanical repair on diesel or gasoline-powered equipment, or 2 years with a vocational qualifi
  • Knowledge of electrical, gas engines, diesel engines, air systems, suspensions, and brakes
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Commitment to safety procedures and quality standards
