Overview

KAG is hiring a Diesel Mechanic III to perform general property and vehicle maintenance and repair duties in a fast-paced shop environment. This role requires a combination of experience and certifications to ensure safe and accurate repairs on heavy-duty vehicles.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform general property and vehicle maintenance and repair duties
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections on Class 5 - 8 commercial vehicles
  • Promote effective communication and teamwork
  • Provide guidance to other employees and third-party representatives
  • Contribute to delivering high-quality products and services

Required skills

  • 5+ years of experience in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Air Brake Certification (FMSCR 396.25) or equivalent experience
  • Ability to obtain Motor Vehicle Air Conditioning Repair (EPA 609)
  • Ability to obtain Commercial Motor Vehicle Inspector certification
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
