The Diesel Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment through comprehensive maintenance and repair tasks. This position requires a solid understanding of essential equipment maintenance, including the ability to run and interpret diagnostic tests, troubleshoot Kenworth machinery, inspect disc braking systems, and assess vehicle lighting systems. Additionally, the mechanic will be responsible for test driving vehicles to evaluate performance, conducting preventative maintenance, and meticulously documenting all service activities. A key objective will be to minimize equipment downtime to enhance operational productivity while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
