The Die Repairer role at U.S. Tsubaki Automotive, LLC involves repairing various types of dies and troubleshooting die problems within the automotive industry. The position is on the 2nd shift in Chicopee, Massachusetts, requiring experience in fabrication and assembly technologies.

Key responsibilities

  • Repair various carbide progressive, pierce & blank dies
  • Troubleshoot die problems
  • Maintain control & inventory levels of tooling, gages, and precision measuring instruments
  • Proof tooling in machines to ensure conformance to quality standards

Required skills

  • Die repair experience
  • Surface grinders and punch presses knowledge
  • 3 years experience in fabrication or assembly technologies
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Proficiency in shop arithmetic, decimals and fractions
  • Ability to read and interpret precision measuring instruments
  • Inventory management skills
