Overview

The Dialysis Facility Administrator for Home Therapies at U.S. Renal Care in Albuquerque, New Mexico is responsible for managing the overall daily operations of assigned home dialysis programs. The role includes ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, promoting quality patient care, and overseeing staffing and equipment management. Training will be provided for those transitioning from In-Center Dialysis Facility Administrator or Clinical Coordinator roles.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement processes for program growth
  • Oversight of equipment management and patient education
  • Achieve financial targets related to budget and expenditures
  • Lead quality management and QAPI meetings
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws
  • Maintain records and reports for operational affairs
  • Supervise on-call system and access to nursing support
  • Communicate effectively with team members and physicians

Required skills

  • Leadership experience in a healthcare setting
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • 1 year of previous dialysis management experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, EMR applications)
  • Valid RN license in applicable state
  • CPR certification within 90 days of hire
