Overview

The Dialysis Facility Administrator is responsible for managing the daily operations of a dialysis clinic, ensuring compliance with regulations, and overseeing patient care and staff management. This role involves implementing processes for program growth, maintaining quality standards, and achieving financial targets while promoting a collaborative and effective workplace.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement processes for program growth
  • Plan and coordinate patient scheduling
  • Implement clinical and operational processes to improve patient health
  • Review incident reports and take appropriate action
  • Lead quality improvement meetings and committees
  • Coordinate functions across departments
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Conduct staff meetings and training sessions
  • Maintain records and reports concerning staffing and operations
  • Oversee maintenance of equipment and clinic environment
  • Monitor contractual agreements and maintain partnerships with local healthcare providers
  • Recruit, train, and supervise clinic personnel

Required skills

  • 1 year of dialysis management experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Current RN license in applicable state
  • CPR certification required within 90 days of hire
