Overview

The Dialysis Facility Administrator oversees the daily management and operation of the clinic, reporting to regional operational management. This role focuses on implementing processes for program growth, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining quality patient care while achieving financial targets.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement processes for program growth
  • Plan and coordinate patient scheduling
  • Implement clinical and operational processes to improve patient health
  • Achieve financial targets including budget and supply costs
  • Review incident reports and promote quality management programs
  • Coordinate functions of all departments and maintain patient care standards
  • Remain current with regulatory compliance
  • Develop and follow up on Corrective Action Plans
  • Conduct meetings with staff and governing bodies
  • Monitor contractual agreements and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Recruit, train, and supervise clinic personnel

Required skills

  • Leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • 1 year previous dialysis management experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in USRC clinical applications within 90 days of hire
  • Current RN license in applicable state
  • 18 months as an RN with 6 months experience in nursing care of patients with kidney failure
  • CPR certification required within 90 days of hire
