Overview

The Dialysis Facility Administrator is responsible for the overall daily management and operation of the clinic. This role involves implementing growth strategies, ensuring operational readiness, promoting quality management, and maintaining regulatory compliance while leading the staff and improving patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement processes for program growth
  • Plan and coordinate patient scheduling
  • Achieve financial targets including budget management
  • Lead quality improvement programs and QAPI meetings
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain necessary certifications
  • Supervise staff and manage personnel performance
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with healthcare providers and the community
  • Monitor safety and sanitation standards within the facility
  • Conduct staff training and development

Required skills

  • Leadership experience in healthcare administration
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Previous dialysis management experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Current RN license and nursing experience with kidney failure patients
  • CPR certification
