Job Description

Overview

The Dialysis Facility Administrator is responsible for the overall management and operation of the clinic, ensuring compliance with regulations, quality patient care, and effective staffing. This role involves developing programs for growth, overseeing financial targets, and fostering a positive environment for staff and patients.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement processes for program growth in line with company goals
  • Plan and coordinate patient scheduling to ensure timely patient acceptance and effective staffing
  • Lead the Quality Assessment & Performance Improvement (QAPI) meetings and initiatives
  • Ensure clinic compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient records and care services
  • Recruit, train, and supervise clinic personnel, fostering effective employee relations
  • Monitor contractual agreements and maintain collaborative relationships with medical staff and community
  • Oversee maintenance of equipment and supplies to ensure operational readiness

Required skills

  • Experience in healthcare administration and patient care management
  • Demonstrated leadership and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Current RN license in applicable state (preferred)
  • 18 months as an RN with 6 months experience in nursing care for kidney failure patients
