Overview

The Dialysis Biomedical Technician at U.S. Renal Care is responsible for the operational condition, maintenance, and repair of water treatment equipment and medical devices to ensure the safety of patients and staff. This role includes troubleshooting, repairs, and performing water quality tests in a clinical setting while fostering a diverse and inclusive work culture.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance and repair of water treatment equipment and medical devices
  • Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks on dialysis machines
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment as per manufacturer recommendations
  • Conduct water quality tests including chlorine and hardness testing
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory control
  • Assist with purchasing and inventory management
  • Participate in team meetings and staff training
  • Collaborate with clinic administrators to meet operational needs
