Overview

Amarx Search, Inc. is seeking a skilled DevOps Systems Administrator for a direct hire position in Scottsdale, AZ. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Linux, containerization technologies, and a focus on supporting AI and ML initiatives in a classified environment. This role involves maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing GPU resources, and collaborating with data scientists and ML engineers.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure for AI/ML model training and inference
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment of AI applications
  • Administer and optimize Linux-based systems and virtualized environments
  • Manage containerization and orchestration platforms like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes using IaC tools
  • Manage and allocate GPU resources for high-performance computing tasks
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for platform health
  • Collaborate with development teams to support infrastructure needs and troubleshoot issues
  • Perform server administration and troubleshoot physical and virtual server operating systems
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Department of Defense TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Advanced understanding of server operating systems
  • Strong Linux skills
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong AI/ML skills
  • Enhanced troubleshooting skills
  • Experience developing and supporting enterprise server solutions
