Overview

The Development Operations and Communications Manager for The Double D Foundation will oversee the organization's digital presence and donor engagement efforts. This role requires a mix of creative and technical skills to manage website content, social media strategy, and the CRM system, all while supporting events that promote responsible firearms education and participation in shooting sports.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the Foundation website with current and engaging content
  • Create and upload blog posts, event announcements, and multimedia content
  • Design graphics using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Develop and manage a content calendar for social media platforms
  • Monitor social media analytics and adapt strategies for improvement
  • Manage the Virtuous CRM and ensure accurate records and reporting
  • Support donor communications and manage the grant management system
  • Collaborate on marketing campaigns and fundraising initiatives
  • Provide support for events and create multimedia content for presentations
  • Produce press releases and manage the quarterly newsletter

Required skills

  • Bachelors' Degree with relevant curriculum
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing or nonprofit communications
  • Proficiency with WordPress or similar CMS
  • Experience managing social media channels
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Virtuous
  • Strong graphic design skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
