Overview

NorthPoint Development LLC is seeking a Development Manager for their Cincinnati office. The role involves leading the development process, managing external consultants, and ensuring compliance with regulations while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive site feasibility and due diligence.
  • Lead the entitlement process from start to finish.
  • Manage and coordinate a team of external consultants.
  • Perform critical reviews of engineering plans and reports.
  • Represent NorthPoint in public hearings and meetings.
  • Bid, negotiate, and administer contracts for project vendors.
  • Manage project team accountability to ensure successful delivery.
  • Communicate project financial status from cradle to grave.
  • Develop and maintain detailed development schedules and budgets.
  • Provide timely feedback to the leasing team.
  • Maintain an understanding of assigned markets and submarkets.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Real Estate.
  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant position.
  • Deep understanding of the land entitlement process.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-focused with organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Ability to travel as required.
