Overview

II-1. General Description1) Manage the program specific activities required for the introduction of new projects in the plant from quote to SORP2) Lead internal coordination of development activities between regions by facilitating II-2. Key Roles and Responsibilities 1) Manage the scope, cost, and timing of new projects by acting as subject matter expert for lighting commodity2) Manage technical direction of activities to meet customer and internal targets3) Develop and review tooling and sourcing assumptions to support new customer RFQs4) Lead product development activities to meet internal Gate Review targets5) Support engineering and costing teams in the development and improvement of cost models technical assumptions, capital equipment planning, and supplier capacity planning.6) Support the implementation of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen events and VA/VE activities7) Support the industrialization of tools into the plant operation8) Support the design and development of the PFMEA, Control Plan and Flow Chart9) Manage APQP activities with cross functional team and provide frequent updates10) Support customer requirements and requests as needed through team local PM rolesII-3-1. Work Experience1) 3 years minimum experience launching automotive products; Mirror and exterior product experience is preferred2) 5 years minimum working experience in an automotive supplier manufacturing facilityII-3-2. Education1) Completed college degree or equivalent work experience2) Current PMP certification preferred3) Prefer 6 sigma green beltII-3-3. Knowledge Skills and Abilities1) Management2) Quality and environmental systems3) Customer Service and relationship management4) Problem solving techniques; green belt six sigma or higher preferred5) Communication techniques6) Knowledge of computer packages (MS OFFICE, CAD, SAP, WEB BASED DB SYSTEMS)7) Fluent English (written and spoken)8) Korean 50% (written and spoken)9) Development and structuring of PPAP's, PFMEA's, Control Plans, Flow Charts10) Negotiation and cost management11) Validation testing including customer specific requirements PI6a5353b2942f-8168
