Job Description

Overview

The Development Coordinator at Richmond Waldorf School is responsible for supporting the school through comprehensive fundraising efforts, managing grants, and enhancing communication with the community. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this role involves planning events and engaging with alumni to foster positive relationships and promote school initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Strategically plan and execute a yearly fundraising plan
  • Manage and communicate progress on fundraising goals and initiatives
  • Coordinate the creation and distribution of the Annual Report
  • Develop community-wide communication strategies and social media content
  • Build and maintain relationships with alumni and coordinate alumni efforts
  • Co-coordinate and support school events and community enrichment series
  • Ensure timely submission of internal and external reports
  • Manage inventory of school merchandise and maintain positive relationships with parents
