Job Description

Overview

Knight Office Solutions Inc is seeking a Detail-Driven IT Service Desk Specialist to provide first contact technology support for Managed Services clients in San Antonio, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems and possess strong customer service and communication skills to ensure fast and accurate resolutions to support requests.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide timely first-level support for customer technical support requests
  • Manage ticketing by receiving, prioritizing, and documenting customer support requests
  • Deliver level 1 remote support and resolve end users' tickets using various tools
  • Participate in the creation and updating of Knowledge Base articles
  • Execute on-call duties including answering after-hours calls and resolving tickets
  • Support service delivery for onboarding, projects, and other special tasks

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED required; 1+ year of IT support experience
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ or Microsoft Fundamentals certifications preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and professionalism
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain accurate documentation
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
