Overview

UMass Memorial Health is recruiting several BC/BE General Dermatologists for its expanding Department of Dermatology in Worcester, Massachusetts. The role offers a flexible career path, allowing involvement in both academic and community settings while caring for a diverse patient population and providing opportunities for teaching and clinical research.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide care for a diverse and complex patient population
  • Engage in teaching and mentoring residents and medical students
  • Participate in clinical research and scholarly activities
  • Cover inpatient dermatology services at UMass University and Memorial campuses
  • Lead a center for cosmetic/laser excellence if interested
  • Participate in operational leadership to optimize clinic operations

Required skills

  • BC/BE in Dermatology
  • Interest in general, medical, and procedural dermatology
  • Experience in skin of color and specialized conditions is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong commitment to patient care, education, and research
