Overview

Columbia Healthcare is looking for a General Dentist to join their team in Gadsden, AL. The ideal candidate will provide dental care primarily for adults while also treating some pediatric cases, and must be eligible to obtain relevant licenses and certifications.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide dental care to patients, focusing on adults with some pediatric cases
  • See 20+ patients per day, including walk-ins and appointments
  • Maintain a clean professional record and adhere to healthcare compliance
  • Utilize electronic patient management systems effectively
  • Collaborate with the Dental Director to meet patient care goals

Required skills

  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
  • Eligibility to obtain Alabama licensure
  • Active CSC and DEA licenses for prescribing
  • CPR certification
  • Experience with electronic health records, preferably Epic
  • Computer proficiency
