Overview

Eastern Dental is seeking a Dental Office Manager to oversee the business aspects of their dental practice in Union, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental office management, including billing, patient scheduling, and staff management, and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and manage dental business operations to ensure excellent patient support services
  • Oversee daily office activities and provide direction to staff
  • Ensure proper handling of patient appointments, cancellations, and adjustments
  • Respond efficiently to patient and doctor needs and inquiries
  • Ensure delivery of quality dental care and resolve patient issues
  • Organize and present payment schedules with patients
  • Train, develop, and manage staff to meet performance standards
  • Oversee employee performance evaluations, promotions, and terminations
  • Manage staff scheduling to ensure full coverage
  • Oversee supply purchases, equipment upgrades, and operational expenses
  • Maintain patient data in accordance with HIPAA regulations

Required skills

  • Dental office management experience in multi-specialty and/or multi-doctor settings
  • At least 3 years of experience with billing, insurance, and scheduling
  • Strong dental terminology and knowledge of the dental industry
  • Denticon experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
