Overview

MicroDental Laboratories is seeking a Dental Lab Ceramist for their Livermore, California location. This role requires a high-energy individual with relevant experience to produce high-quality dental restorations while ensuring exceptional customer care and strong team collaboration.

Key responsibilities

  • Produce esthetic dental restorations to meet customer expectations
  • Perform facial cutback layering of porcelain, contouring, and glazing zirconia and e.max restorations
  • Operate dental laboratory tools and equipment
  • Conduct final quality inspections of crown and bridge cases
  • Create custom shades and meet tight deadlines
  • Maintain clean equipment and work area
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Knowledge of dental lab products, materials, terminology, and techniques
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in porcelain layering and contouring
  • High attention to detail with exceptional quality standards
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent hand/eye coordination
  • Team player with a willingness to learn new responsibilities
  • Ability to utilize magnification goggles
