Overview

MicroDental Laboratories is seeking a highly motivated Business Development professional to join their team in Maplewood, Minnesota. The role focuses on strengthening relationships with dental practices and promoting the company’s range of dental laboratory products and services, leveraging strong sales and communication skills to drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of dental laboratory products and digital dentistry workflows
  • Act as a liaison between dental practices and the laboratory to ensure clear communication and service
  • Utilize in-person visits, presentations, and demos to grow revenue and market share
  • Meet and exceed assigned revenue goals and activity metrics
  • Track sales activities and pipeline using CRM tools
  • Monitor market trends and provide insights to leadership
  • Collaborate with the internal lab team to support customer needs

Required skills

  • 5+ years of business to business outside sales experience, preferably in the dental or medical device field
  • Familiarity with digital workflows, intraoral scanners, implants, or cosmetic restorative dentistry
  • Consultative sales skills
  • Sales management and budget development experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Proven history of achieving sales quotas
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel
