Overview

MicroDental Laboratories is seeking a high-energy, organized individual for the role of Shipping & Receiving Clerk at their Ward Dental Laboratory in Brighton, Michigan. This position involves preparing materials for shipping, managing incoming packages, and providing exceptional customer service, all within a company devoted to quality and customer care in the dental industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare materials for shipping by weighing, packaging, and preparing shipping forms
  • Disinfect incoming cases following safety processes
  • Assemble and fill boxes with items for shipping
  • Unload, sort, and prioritize incoming packages
  • Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
  • Provide customer service via phone, in-person, and email
  • Support employees and managers with shipping-related activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Knowledge of dental lab products, materials, and techniques preferred
  • Basic computer knowledge
