Overview

Indigo Dental Staffing is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant Instructor for their Saturday-only program at the Indigo Institute in Tuxedo, North Carolina. This role involves teaching a Dental Assisting course designed to prepare students for real-world settings, with classes running for 12 weeks from 8am to 4pm.

Key responsibilities

  • Instruct students in the Dental Assisting program on Saturdays
  • Utilize provided syllabus and course materials, with flexibility to add personal content
  • Support students' learning and development in a hands-on environment
  • Collaborate with assistant instructor and Program Director throughout the course

Required skills

  • Active RDA license or higher
  • Coronal Polishing certification
  • 2 years of clinical dental experience
  • Teaching and curriculum development skills
