Job Description

Overview

The Deltek Business Process & Accounting Enablement Partner will work on-site in Meridian, Idaho, and is tasked with optimizing and aligning accounting and finance workflows within Deltek Vantagepoint. This role will involve collaboration with various teams to enhance business processes and ensure efficient financial operations across the organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, document, and maintain accounting workflows within Deltek
  • Translate accounting requirements into Deltek-aligned workflow execution
  • Identify gaps between current practices and Deltek capabilities
  • Provide training and support for accounting and finance users
  • Partner with the Controller to support financial close processes
  • Evaluate customization and enhancement requests with accounting impact in mind
  • Ensure data quality for accurate reporting
  • Maintain documentation for accounting workflows and controls
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in accounting processes

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience within Deltek or similar software
  • Proven expertise in supporting accounting and financial management teams
  • Familiarity with project-based professional services or engineering-focused firms
  • Experience with SQL or similar languages
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
