Job Description

Overview

Amazon is seeking self-motivated Driver Trainers to join the Rural Super Rural (RSR) organization, which focuses on ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient last-mile delivery. As a Driver Trainer, you will mentor Delivery Associates through hands-on training, establishing a culture of safety, quality, and productivity within your delivery station.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate daily training classes for up to 30 people, including in-station classes and drive-alongs
  • Partner with Delivery Service Partners (DSPs), Operations Managers, Area Managers, and Learning Teams for training coordination
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting on training completion, compliance, safety, and maintenance duties
  • Educate and audit driver safety and compliance standards
  • Track performance and monitor adherence to standards during on-road evaluations
  • Motivate, coach, and provide feedback to Delivery Associates during training
  • Travel to multiple sites within 50 miles and maintain reliable transportation
  • Operate and navigate a vehicle weighing 26,000 pounds or less

Required skills

  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Valid and active driver's license
  • Ability to communicate effectively across various organizational levels
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience delivering training to individuals and groups
  • 2+ years of professional driving experience
  • Knowledge of instructional theories and adult learning principles
