Overview

Ashley | The Wellsville Group is seeking a Delivery Driver/Helper for their Batavia, NY Distribution Center. In this role, you will assist with transporting furniture and products to various showroom locations, emphasizing safety and adherence to operating procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and handle furniture up to 100lbs
  • Help unload furniture from inbound trailers using RF scan gun
  • Pick product for showroom transfer
  • Load, deliver, and unload products at showrooms
  • Assist with building/assembling products and placement in showrooms
  • Stand and walk for long periods in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery driver position
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving history
  • Ability to drive a non-CDL, 26' box truck
  • Physical strength to lift furniture up to 100lbs
  • High School Diploma or GED certificate
  • DOT Medical Card (preferred)
