Overview

Briggs Inc of Omaha is seeking a Delivery Driver for their Lincoln location. The role involves delivering materials to customer sites and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The driver will be responsible for pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining the truck, and effective communication with customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections
  • Maintain truck for safe operation and cleanliness
  • Load and unload materials on the truck
  • Secure materials before transport
  • Check orders for accuracy
  • Develop efficient delivery routes
  • Report delivery problems to the Branch Manager
  • Train in safe usage of warehouse equipment
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts
  • Assist in warehouse cleaning and maintenance
  • Stock materials in racks and bins
  • Count physical inventory as needed
  • Perform other duties as requested by branch management

Required skills
