Job Description

Overview

As a Delivery Driver for Staples, you will be essential in transporting products safely and delivering office supplies on your assigned route. Working in a team-oriented environment, you'll be responsible for ensuring safe delivery practices while fostering customer relationships and problem-solving when necessary.

Key responsibilities

  • Transport products safely to customers on assigned route
  • Load truck with products for delivery as needed
  • Ensure safety practices are followed during deliveries
  • Organize and load product using delivery manifests for efficiency
  • Provide customer support and accept product returns
  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and perform pre-trip inspections

Required skills

  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
  • Basic English language skills (verbal and written)
  • Experience in truck driving or comparable delivery experience
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs and utilize hand carts
  • Proficient in GPS navigation and mobile Proof of Delivery devices
