Key duties include:Providing friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable customer servicePreparing, wrapping, weighing, pricing, and labeling deli productsSetting up and maintaining the deli case with fresh ingredients and attractive displaysEnsuring proper rotation of products and removing expired itemsRestocking deli items and supplies such as cutlery, cups, and containersPreparing special orders to meet customer specificationsOffering samples to increase product awareness and drive salesReading and following recipes in English with accuracyMaintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary workspaceAssisting vendors and contributing to department improvementsSupporting the team with other duties as neededWhat You BringEducation:High school diploma or GED requiredExperience:Previous customer service experience preferred (deli/food service a plus)Skills & Knowledge:Strong communication and customer service skillsAbility to perform basic math for weighing, pricing, and transactionsComfortable reading recipes and product labels in EnglishAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team environmentA proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learnPhysical RequirementsConstant standing and walking throughout the shiftFrequently lift items up to 25 lbs.; occasionally push/pull up to 50 lbs.Carry trays or bowls of food up to 50 feetUse carts, dollies, and kitchen tools safely and efficientlyAvailabilityMust be available to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysWhy Join Mother's Market?Join a company that cares about its customers, team members, and the planet.
