In this role, you'll support daily distribution center operations across multiple functional areas including Receiving, Put Away, Order Picking, Packing, Shipping, and Special Programs.This position plays a key role in maintaining high standards of safety, quality, productivity, teamwork, and attendance, while offering opportunities for cross-training and advancement.ReceivingVerify incoming products and quantitiesIdentify non-conforming materials and quality issuesComplete the required documentation (packing slips, Certificates of Conformance, etc.)Process receipts in the systemPerform cross-docking activitiesMaintain organized documentationPut AwayConfirm part numbers and quantitiesStore inventory in correct locations efficiently and accuratelyIdentify and report discrepancies or damageUpdate inventory locations in systemOrder PickingAccurately pick and count partsVerify part numbers and locationsIdentify potential quality issuesPackage parts appropriately for protectionPacking & ShippingVerify part accuracy prior to shipmentPackage, label, and seal shipments properlyReport any quality concernsPrepare shipments and stack cartons neatly on palletsAdditional ResponsibilitiesMaintain a positive, team-oriented attitudeAssist with additional tasks as neededSupport cross-training across departmentsKeep work areas clean and organizedFollow all company policies and safety protocolsReport safety hazards immediatelyMinimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentBasic reading, writing, and math skillsAbility to lift 50-70 lbs.Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift Must be at least 18 and able to pass a background screening.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong attention to detail and accuracyDependable, flexible, and results-drivenAbility to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a teamBasic computer skills preferredAbility to perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, climbing, and reachingExcellent attendance and punctualityEquipment UsedRF scanners, conveyor systems, scales, label printers, shipping systems, and other warehouse equipment.
