Job Description

Overview

Douglassville Quarry, a division of The H&K Group, is seeking a Day-Time Maintenance Technician to support production and maintenance. The role requires a safety-focused individual who excels at teamwork and pays attention to detail. The technician will be responsible for performing plant maintenance and ensuring a clean work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform all work according to MSHA and H&K Safety policies
  • Conduct plant maintenance and maintain clean work areas
  • Learn plant functions and operations proactively
  • Take direction from and work in a team with site personnel
  • Cross-train to learn all jobs of the plant and substitute when necessary
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE
  • Physical capability to meet job requirements, including lifting
  • Stick welding and torch use skills
  • 3+ months related experience preferred
  • Experience operating heavy equipment, especially Loader
  • Experience in quarry or outdoor industrial settings
  • MSHA or relevant safety certification
  • Familiarity with quarry maintenance
