Overview

Epik Solutions is seeking a Black Belt Certified Data Science Engineer to work on advanced data science projects in Greenwood Village, CO. The role requires strong expertise in machine learning and data handling to develop and deploy end-to-end ML models, while also mentoring team members and aligning data strategies with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy regression, classification, tree-based models, clustering, time series, and recommendation systems.
  • Build LLM-powered solutions and retrieval-augmented generation pipelines.
  • Conduct hypothesis testing, causal inference, A/B testing, and evaluate metrics.
  • Monitor and govern model performance post-deployment.
  • Visualize data insights using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Utilize AWS and MLOps tools for data science workflows.
  • Mentor junior team members and align projects with business KPIs.

Required skills

  • Black Belt Certified in Data Science/AI/ML
  • Advanced expertise in Data Science and Machine Learning
  • Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PySpark)
