This is an exceptional opportunity to work on sophisticated privacy, data processing, and cybersecurity matters arising in corporate and technology transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, and other strategic commercial transactions(link removed) The successful candidate will join an industry-leading team advising both private and public companies across a broad range of innovative sectors, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, cloud computing, software, and fintech. Candidate Profile JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic recordActive Bar Admission in Texas or California, in good standing1-7 years of substantive experience in privacy, data processing, cybersecurity, and transactional mattersExperience with mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, technology transactions, or other transactional work is requiredExperience advising clients in technology-focused industries is preferredFamiliarity with regulatory policy and enforcement matters is desirable CIPP certification is a plusSuperior academic credentials and outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong analytical, drafting, and client-management skills with exceptional attention to detail Key Responsibilities Advise clients on privacy, data processing, and cybersecurity issues arising in mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, and other commercial and strategic transactionsConduct privacy and cybersecurity diligence in connection with corporate and technology transactionsDraft, review, and negotiate transaction-related privacy, data protection, and cybersecurity provisions and agreementsCounsel clients regarding privacy compliance obligations and risk management considerations in complex transactionsCollaborate with attorneys across corporate, technology, intellectual property, and regulatory practices to support sophisticated domestic and cross-border mattersWork with innovative companies in emerging industries, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud computing, software, and fintech Why Join Us?
