Overview

Genesis10 is seeking a Data Modeler for a hybrid position with a Major Financial Institution in Jersey City, NJ. This 6-month contract role will focus on analytics and developing risk and quantitative models related to Insider Risk data, aiming to enhance the Insider Risk program's capabilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, build, and improve quantitative models and analytical frameworks for insider risk assessment
  • Collaborate with Cyber, HR, Legal, Compliance, Anti-Fraud, and Enterprise Information Protection teams
  • Transform complex enterprise data into risk signals and scoring models
  • Support investigations, governance, and regulatory scrutiny

Required skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Quantitative Finance, Compute
  • 5 years of experience in data science, quantitative analysis, or risk modeling
  • Strong experience with statistical or machine learning models (regression, classification, anomaly detection, clustering
  • Proficiency in Python and/or R, and experience in SQL for large-scale data analysis
  • Hands-on experience with complex enterprise datasets
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex analytical concepts
  • Experience in Insider Risk, Fraud, AML, Cybersecurity, UEBA, or Threat Analytics
  • Familiarity with identity and access data, endpoint telemetry, and DLP
  • Knowledge of model explainability, governance, and validation in regulated environments
