Overview

Ollie is seeking a Data Analyst to enhance subscription retention and member loyalty within a collaborative cross-functional team. This role involves analyzing customer behavior, conducting exploratory projects, and leading test designs to optimize the member experience. The analyst will be a key data resource supporting various teams and contributing to data-driven innovations.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive a data-driven approach to optimizing the Ollie member experience
  • Conduct exploratory analytical projects to identify actionable insights
  • Design and measure thoughtful tests for new experiences and features
  • Support cross-functional teams with ad hoc analysis and metric definition
  • Build and maintain analytical excellence by enhancing processes

Required skills

  • 2+ years of experience in data analytics or related fields
  • Strong technical skills in SQL and Excel
  • Applied statistics expertise including test design and multivariate analysis
  • Knowledge of subscription-based metrics like retention and churn
  • Experience with analytics platforms and production databases such as Segment, GA, MixPanel, Looker, Snowflake
  • Ability to break down complex analytical problems into manageable components
  • Strong communication skills for conveying insights in written and verbal formats
